Network Performance Test
Measure the performance and quality of your Internet connection from the browser — not just the headline download speed.
This test transfers data to measure your connection speed and may use up to around 80 MB. If you are using mobile data, check your allowance before starting.

What this test measures
Throughput measures the usable transfer rate to the public test service. Idle latency measures request response time before the connection is loaded. Loaded latency measures response time while data is moving, which helps expose queueing and bufferbloat. Jitter is the variation in repeated latency samples. The browser cannot directly measure Wi-Fi RSSI, channel utilisation, switch-port errors or the exact physical source of packet loss.
Results are point-in-time measurements and can vary with Wi-Fi conditions, device load, VPNs, other traffic, test-server load and Internet routing. Treat the result as an indicator of connection quality rather than a complete LAN survey.
